1/2 oz Gold First Spouse Coins BU/PR (Random Year, w/Box and CoA)
Between 2007 and 2016, the United States Mint honored the nation's First Ladies through a dedicated series of ten dollar gold coins. Struck at the West Point Mint in New York, each issue is composed of a half ounce of highly pure 0.9999 fine gold. These pieces were made available in both Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated finishes, offering two distinct visual presentations of the detailed artistry. The obverse of each coin displays a portrait of a specific First Lady, while the reverse features a unique design that changes with every release to reflect her life and contributions. The inscriptions on these issues include the face value of ten dollars, the purity and weight of the precious metal, and classic American mottos such as Liberty and E Pluribus Unum.
