This copper round highlights a fascinating figure from Norse mythology, serving as the third entry in a five-part series dedicated to legendary Nordic beings. Struck from one AVDP ounce of 0.999 fine copper, the piece brings ancient stories to life through detailed, custom artwork. The production of this specific design was limited to a mintage of 100,000 pieces. The front of the round showcases Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged steed ridden by the Norse god Odin. Illustrated by artist Howard David Johnson, the design captures the powerful form of this mythical horse in mid-stride. The reverse side features a detailed depiction of Yggdrasil, the immense and sacred World Tree that connects the different realms of Norse cosmology.
