The design elements rise boldly from the surface, creating a sculptural quality that catches the light and highlights the fine details of the engraving. On the obverse, two burning torches merge to form a single flame, framed elegantly within a circular laurel wreath. This side also bears the inscription "LIBERTY" along with the weight of the gold. The reverse side presents a classic profile portrait of Lady Liberty, accompanied by the traditional Latin phrases "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "LIBERTAS."
