In 1987, the Rarities Mint celebrated one of the most iconic moments in animation history with a special silver release. This vintage round captures the whimsical energy of Mickey Mouse in his legendary role from the film Fantasia, rendering the beloved character in one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. The front of the round depicts Mickey Mouse in his sorcerer robes, actively casting spells and sending magic dust swirling through the air. This side also includes the weight and purity specifications, confirming its silver content. On the reverse, the magical chaos continues with an illustration of Mickey alongside a magic mop, a nod to the famous symphonic sequence. Because of their age, some of these pieces have developed a subtle, beautiful lilac toning around the outer edges, adding a unique visual character to each individual round.
