$10 Indian Gold Eagle MS-64 NGC (Random)

0.4838 troy oz .900 MS-64 (NGC)

Struck between 1907 and 1933, this ten dollar gold piece represents a bold departure from traditional American coinage. The coin contains 0.4838 troy ounces of gold, minted at 90 percent purity. These historic pieces were produced at three United States minting facilities, located in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. The obverse presents a distinctive depiction of Lady Liberty adorned with a Native American war bonnet. Thirteen stars arch over her head, symbolizing the original colonies, while her hair band is inscribed with the word LIBERTY. The year of manufacture is positioned at the bottom of the design. On the reverse, a proud bald eagle stands as the central focus. It is accompanied by the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the face value of TEN DOLLARS. Rather than a standard reeded or smooth border, the edge of this coin is uniquely decorated with raised stars. This specific specimen has been certified in Mint State 64 (MS-64) condition, preserving its intricate details and original luster.
