This vintage silver bar represents a bygone era of private minting, crafted by the now-defunct Phoenix Precious Metals. Unlike the highly uniform, machine-stamped bullion common today, this piece was created using traditional hand-pouring techniques. The process gave it a highly dimensional, rounded shape often referred to by collectors as a candy-loaf style. The front of the bar displays the manufacturer's name, Phoenix Precious Metals, alongside its official logo. Additional markings clearly state the weight of ten troy ounces and its high purity level of 0.999 fine silver. Because these bars are no longer in production, each surviving piece serves as a physical record of the historical pouring methods used by independent refiners. In keeping with the classic style of poured bullion, the reverse side of this ten-ounce bar is entirely blank. The natural cooling ripples and unique surface textures on the back are direct results of the molten metal setting in its mold, making every individual bar slightly different from the next.
