Dating back to the twelfth century, between the years 1160 and 1176, this silver denier originates from the historic Kingdom of France. It represents a tangible survivor from the medieval era, minted during the rule of Ralph VI. Despite its age, the coin has survived in Very Fine condition, preserving the distinct artistry of the period.
