Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this fifty-cent piece is composed of 89.24 percent silver, containing approximately 0.3868 troy ounces of the precious metal. On the obverse, the design by John Reich presents a left-facing profile of Lady Liberty, her hair draped gently beneath a stylized cap.
