This gold coin, struck in 1865, represents a fascinating era of Australian minting. Minted at the Sydney Mint, it contains 0.2354 troy ounces of gold content, with a purity of 0.9167. Having survived more than a century and a half, this specimen has been certified in About Uncirculated 53 (AU-53) condition, preserving the details of its historic design.
