Longacre, showcases a left-facing profile of Liberty. A band inscribed with the word "Liberty" rests in her hair, while thirteen stars encircle the portrait. The year 1874 is positioned beneath her image. On the reverse, Longacre's design presents a majestic heraldic eagle bearing a shield across its chest. A cluster of thirteen stars is positioned directly above the eagle. The legends surrounding the central image include "United States of America" along with the denomination, "Twenty D.", indicating its face value.
