The Morgan Dollar stands as one of the most recognized silver coins in American history, circulating across the nation for roughly eight decades. Struck in 90 percent pure silver, each coin contains 0.77344 troy ounces of precious metal. This particular specimen is certified in Mint State 65, preserved in a protective holder to safeguard its high-grade condition. On the obverse, a left-facing portrait of Liberty is adorned with a Phrygian cap, which bears the word Liberty on her hairband. This side of the coin is framed by thirteen stars, the year of manufacture, and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. The reverse displays a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread, grasping a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Surrounding the central eagle are the inscriptions United States of America, One Dollar, and the national motto In God We Trust. This historic silver issue remains a fully backed, sovereign coin of the United States government.
