It features the Reverse of 1878 design variation, struck in 90 percent fine silver with a total precious metal content of 0.7734 troy ounces. The obverse presents a left-facing profile of Lady Liberty. Departing from traditional European artistic styles, this representation was the first to give Liberty a distinctly American look.
