0.7734 troy oz .900 1880 Extra Fine

The 1880 Morgan silver dollar stands as a remarkable artifact from the Carson City Mint, bearing the famous CC mint mark on its reverse. Struck with a silver purity of 90 percent, this coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. Its current state is preserved in Extra Fine condition, allowing observers to appreciate the finer details of its late nineteenth-century craftsmanship. On the obverse side, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap, which features a headband displaying her name. This central portrait is bordered by thirteen stars, the year of issue, and the classic Latin motto meaning out of many, one. The reverse displays a symbolic bald eagle grasping both arrows and an olive branch. Surrounding this central design are the inscriptions indicating the issuing country as the United States of America, along with the denomination of One Dollar and the national motto expressing trust in God.
