This 1880 silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage, minted in New Orleans and preserved in an impressive certified Mint State 64 condition. Struck from 0.7734 troy ounces of 90 percent pure silver, the coin showcases the artistry of late nineteenth-century design with remarkable clarity. The front of the coin features a left-facing portrait of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap. A band nestled in her hair displays the word "Liberty" in clear lettering.
