0.7734 troy oz .900 1881 Almost Unc

The 1881 Morgan silver dollar stands as a remarkable artifact from the late nineteenth century, minted in the historic Nevada town of Carson City. Struck with the famous 'CC' mint mark, this coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 90 percent. Preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, it retains much of the original detail that emerged from the coining presses over a century ago. The obverse of the dollar presents a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom, adorned with a hair band inscribed with the word 'LIBERTY'. This side of the coin also displays the classic American motto, 'In God We Trust', integrated into the design. On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide. In its talons, the eagle firmly grasps an olive branch, representing peace, alongside a bundle of arrows, symbolizing strength. The denomination 'ONE DOLLAR' is clearly struck at the bottom, while the letters 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA' frame the upper border, completing a powerful national emblem.
