In 1882, the Carson City Mint struck this historic silver dollar, a prominent representative of the famous Morgan series. The coin contains 0.77344 troy ounces of silver, minted with a purity of 0.900. It survives today in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the sharp details of its original nineteenth-century manufacture. The obverse features a profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap, which bears a hair band inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted clutching both an olive branch and arrows, symbolizing a desire for peace alongside a readiness for defense. Positioned beneath the eagle is the distinctive "CC" mint mark, confirming its origin from the celebrated Nevada facility.
