The 1882 Morgan silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage, serving as a circulating medium of exchange for nearly eighty years. Minted in San Francisco, this particular coin carries the distinct 'S' mint mark on its reverse. Struck with 0.7734 troy ounces of 90 percent pure silver, the coin has survived the decades in Extra Fine condition, preserving the detailed artistry of its original engraving. On the obverse side, a profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which features a hair band inscribed with the word 'LIBERTY'.
