0.7734 troy oz .900 1884 Almost Unc

The 1884 Morgan silver dollar stands as a remarkable artifact from the late nineteenth century, minted at the famous Carson City facility in Nevada. Bearing the distinctive "CC" mint mark, this coin represents a fascinating era of American silver production. It is struck in 90 percent fine silver, containing 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal, and has survived in Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving much of its original detail and luster. On the obverse side, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom. This side is framed by thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the year 1884, and the classic inscriptions "Liberty" and "E Pluribus Unum." Turning the coin over reveals a powerful bald eagle on the reverse, grasping both an olive branch and arrows in its talons to symbolize peace and readiness. The reverse design is completed by the national motto "In God We Trust" positioned above the eagle, along with the legends "United States of America" and the "One Dollar" face value.
