Struck in the late nineteenth century, this historic silver coin represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted at the Carson City facility, the piece contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 0.900. It has been certified in Mint State 62 (MS-62) condition, preserving the intricate details of its original engraving. The front of the coin displays a profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap, which features the word Liberty clearly inscribed across her hair band. Framing this central portrait are thirteen stars symbolizing the founding colonies of the nation, along with the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum and the 1884 year of manufacture. On the back, a bald eagle holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The national motto In God We Trust is positioned above the eagle, while the inscriptions United States of America and the One Dollar denomination circle the outer border. The famous CC mint mark is also visible, marking its origin from the Nevada mint.
