This side is framed by the date 1884, thirteen stars, and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. The reverse side displays a bald eagle holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons. Surrounding this central image are the inscriptions United States of America, One Dollar, and the national motto In God We Trust. The CC mint mark below the eagle confirms its origin from the historic Carson City facility.
