The 1884 Morgan silver dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage, originating from the San Francisco Mint. These silver dollars served as a staple of American commerce, circulating actively throughout the nation for about eighty years. Each coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a purity of 0.900. On the obverse side, a profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which displays the word "Liberty" along her hair band. This side is framed by thirteen stars, the year of issue 1884, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum." The reverse side of the coin features a bald eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Surrounding the central eagle are the inscriptions "United States of America" and the denomination "One Dollar," along with the motto "In God We Trust." The "S" mint mark is also visible on this side, identifying its origin from the West Coast minting facility. This specific specimen has been certified in About Uncirculated 50 condition.
