The coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a composition that is 90 percent pure. On the obverse, the design showcases the profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap. This side is framed by thirteen stars, the year 1885, and the classical mottos "Liberty" and "E Pluribus Unum." This iconic imagery represents a significant era in the nation's history, as the Morgan Dollar series as a whole circulated actively for about 80 years. The reverse of the coin presents a powerful bald eagle, its talons grasping both arrows and an olive branch.
