Containing 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver, the coin has survived the decades in remarkable condition, earning a high certified grade of Mint State 66 (MS-66) for its exceptional preservation and luster. On the obverse side, a profile of Liberty faces left, adorned with a Phrygian cap. The word "Liberty" is clearly inscribed across her hair band. Framing this central portrait are thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the 1886 date of manufacture, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum." The reverse side presents a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread wide. In its talons, the national bird grasps an olive branch and a cluster of arrows, symbolizing both peace and military readiness. The eagle is encircled by the inscriptions "United States of America," the denomination "One Dollar," and the motto "In God We Trust" rendered in gothic script.
