The piece contains 0.7734 troy ounces of 90 percent pure silver, representing the standard circulating dollar of its era. This particular coin has been graded in About Uncirculated 53 (AU-53) condition, preserving the intricate details of its original design. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom, secured by a hair band inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars, representing the original colonies, along with the date of issue and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum". On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with outspread wings, clutching an olive branch of peace and a bundle of arrows symbolizing strength. The eagle is framed by the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar".
