The front of the coin displays the left-facing bust of Queen Victoria, wearing her royal crown in celebration of her Jubilee. Surrounding her portrait is a traditional Latin inscription. On the back, the coin features the iconic depiction of Saint George on horseback, engaged in combat with a dragon. This reverse scene was created by the artist Benedetto Pistrucci.
