0.7734 troy oz .900 1890 Brilliant Unc

The 1890 Morgan Dollar represents a classic era of American currency. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin carries no mint mark, a traditional feature of the facility's output during this period. For nearly eighty years, the Morgan Dollar series circulated widely, serving as a staple of daily commerce across the United States. This specific coin remains in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the original details of its historic design. The obverse features the profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap. Surrounding her portrait are thirteen stars, the year 1890, and the classic Latin motto, E Pluribus Unum. The word Liberty is also integrated into her hair band. On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted holding arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing both strength and peace. The inscriptions on this side include United States of America, One Dollar, and the motto, In God We Trust. Minted with 0.7734 troy ounces of silver and a purity of 90 percent, this coin is a remarkable survivor from the late nineteenth century.
