Struck in the year 1890, this certified Mint State 62 Morgan dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin bears no mint mark, which was the standard practice for the facility during this period. Each of these historic silver issues contains 0.77344 ounces of pure silver, boasting a metal purity of 90 percent. The obverse design presents a profile of Liberty, who wears a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a band inscribed with the word "Liberty". Encircling this central portrait are thirteen stars, the date 1890, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum". On the reverse, a bald eagle holds both arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The eagle is framed by the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar", alongside the national motto, "In God We Trust".
