0.7734 troy oz .900 1891 Brilliant Unc

The 1891-CC Morgan silver dollar stands as a compelling artifact from the historic Carson City Mint in Nevada. Struck in 0.900 fine silver with a precious metal weight of 0.77344 troy ounces, this coin belongs to the celebrated Morgan Dollar series. Out of a total mintage of 1,618,000 pieces produced for this specific year and mint combination, this specimen has survived in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving its original luster and sharp design details for over a century. On the obverse side, a left-facing portrait of Liberty is depicted. She wears a traditional Phrygian cap, which features a hair band inscribed with the word LIBERTY. The year 1891 is struck at the bottom of the design. The reverse showcases a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread, grasping an olive branch of peace in one talon and a cluster of arrows in the other. Positioned below the eagle is the famous CC mint mark, identifying its origin from the Carson City facility, alongside the denomination of ONE DOLLAR.
