0.7734 troy oz .900 1891 Almost Unc

The 1891-O Morgan Dollar stands as a remarkable artifact of late nineteenth-century American coinage. Minted in New Orleans, this silver piece is preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, meaning it retains much of its original luster and detail from the day it left the coining press. Each coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a composition that is 90 percent pure. On the obverse side, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap, which features a band inscribed with her name. Surrounding this central portrait are the date 1891, thirteen stars representing the founding colonies, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum." The reverse of the coin displays a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread, holding both arrows and an olive branch in its talons. This central image is framed by the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar," along with the national motto "In God We Trust" positioned directly above the eagle.
