0.7734 troy oz .900 1891 Brilliant Unc

Struck in the final decade of the nineteenth century, this 1891 Morgan silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted at the San Francisco facility, this piece contains 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver, with a total production run of 5,296,000 coins. It survives today in brilliant uncirculated condition, preserving the intricate details of its original design. The obverse side displays a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap, which features a band inscribed with the word "Liberty." Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the year of issue 1891, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum." On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with outspread wings, grasping both an olive branch and arrows in its talons. This central image is surrounded by the inscriptions "United States of America" and the denomination "One Dollar." Hovering directly above the eagle is the national motto, "In God We Trust."
