During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the southern German kingdom of Wurttemberg issued a substantial silver coin with a face value of 5 Marks. Minted between the years 1892 and 1913, these pieces represent a fascinating era of European history before the onset of the First World War. Each coin was produced at the Stuttgart Mint, which is identified by the F mint mark. The obverse side of the coin displays a right-facing portrait of King Wilhelm II, who ruled the region during this period. On the reverse, the design features the crowned imperial eagle of Germany, surrounded by the year of issue and the denomination.
