0.7734 troy oz .900 1892 Brilliant Unc

In 1892, the Carson City Mint struck a limited run of 1,352,000 silver dollars, creating a fascinating artifact of late nineteenth-century American coinage. This particular specimen survives in brilliant uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its original design. Composed of 0.700 silver, the coin contains exactly 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. The obverse side presents a profile of Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap, her hair band inscribed with the word Liberty. Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars, the year 1892, and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. On the reverse, a bald eagle clutches an olive branch alongside a cluster of arrows, symbolizing both peace and readiness. The surrounding inscriptions clearly mark the issuing nation as the United States of America, designate the denomination as One Dollar, and display the national motto, In God We Trust. The famous CC mint mark below the eagle confirms its origin from the historic Nevada facility.
