The 1892 Morgan silver dollar represents a fascinating moment in late nineteenth-century American coining. Struck at the legendary Carson City Mint in Nevada, this coin carries the famous "CC" mint mark on its reverse. Containing 0.7734 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 0.900, this specific piece has survived the decades in remarkable condition, earning a certified grade of Mint State 63 (MS-63). On the obverse, the design showcases a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap decorated with wheat and cotton, secured by a band inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars, the date of issue 1892, and the Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The reverse displays a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread wide, clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Surrounding the national bird are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the face value "ONE DOLLAR".
