Struck in 1892, this Morgan Silver Dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin carries no mint mark, which distinguishes it from those produced at branch mints. Each of these historic silver pieces contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a purity of 0.900, and served as active currency in the United States during a span of approximately 80 years. The obverse of the coin showcases a profile of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, decorated with a band inscribed with the word "Liberty". Encircling this central portrait are thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the date of issue 1892, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum". On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted holding both an olive branch and arrows, symbolizing peace and readiness. The reverse design is framed by the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar", alongside the national motto "In God We Trust".
