Struck in 1892, this silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted at the historic New Orleans facility, the coin carries the distinctive "O" mint mark positioned just above the denomination on the reverse side. Containing 0.7734 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 0.900, this piece is preserved in an exceptional Almost Uncirculated 58 state, showcasing much of its original detail and luster. The obverse design presents a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom, which is adorned with a band inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". Surrounding her portrait are the stars and the date of manufacture, 1892. On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread, grasping both an olive branch of peace and a cluster of arrows.
