Struck in 1892 at the historic New Orleans Mint, this Morgan silver dollar is a remarkable survivor from the late nineteenth century. Crafted from 90 percent silver and containing 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal, the coin displays the classic artistry that has made this series a favorite among numismatic enthusiasts. This specific piece has been certified in Mint State 64 (MS-64) condition, indicating its exceptional preservation and lustrous eye appeal. The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty, who wears a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a band inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". Encircling her profile are thirteen stars, the year of manufacture, and the classic national motto "E Pluribus Unum". On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle is depicted with outspread wings, grasping both an olive branch and arrows in its talons. The reverse design is framed by the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar", with the sacred phrase "In God We Trust" positioned above the eagle.
