1892-O Stage Coach Silver Dollar BU PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1892 Brilliant Unc (PCGS)

Struck in the late nineteenth century, this 1892 silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted in New Orleans, as indicated by the 'O' mint mark, the coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of 90 percent pure silver. It remains in brilliant uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its original engraving for modern observers to appreciate. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom, secured by a hair band inscribed with the word 'Liberty'. Surrounding her portrait are thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the date 1892, and the Latin motto 'E Pluribus Unum'. On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread, clutching an olive branch of peace and a bundle of arrows representing strength. The national motto 'In God We Trust' appears above the eagle, while the inscriptions 'United States of America' and 'One Dollar' encircle the central design.
