The 1893 Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint represents a compelling moment in American coining. With a remarkably low mintage of just 300,000 pieces, this specific issue is a highly sought-after representative of the celebrated Morgan Silver Dollar series, which served as active currency in the United States for about 80 years. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving its original luster and the fine details of its nineteenth-century craftsmanship. On the obverse, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which features a band inscribed with the word LIBERTY. This side is framed by the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars representing the original colonies, and the 1893 date. Each coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, minted with a purity of 90 percent. The reverse displays a bald eagle with outstretched wings, clutching both an olive branch and arrows in its talons.
