This particular specimen is certified in Very Good 10 condition, showing honest wear from its time in circulation while retaining the essential details of its historic design. The obverse presents the left-facing profile of Liberty, who wears a Phrygian cap adorned with a band inscribed with her name. Thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the date 1893, and the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum" encircle her portrait. On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with outspread wings, grasping an olive branch of peace and a bundle of war arrows. The national motto "In God We Trust" appears above the eagle, while the legends "United States of America" and "One Dollar" frame the design. The distinctive "S" mint mark, positioned just below the wreath, identifies this coin as a product of the San Francisco facility.
