The 1894 Morgan silver dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint represents a classic era of American coinage. This particular specimen is certified in Almost Uncirculated 58 condition, showcasing the intricate details of George T. Morgan's iconic design with only trace wear. Minted with a total production of 1,260,000 pieces, each of these historic silver dollars contains 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver within a 90 percent silver composition. The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, which is adorned with a band inscribed with the word Liberty. Surrounding her profile are thirteen stars, representing the original colonies, alongside the year of issue (1894) and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread, clutching an olive branch of peace and a bundle of arrows symbolizing strength. The eagle is encircled by a wreath, with the inscriptions United States of America and the denomination One Dollar framing the design. The national motto, In God We Trust, is positioned directly above the eagle's head.
