The 1895 Morgan silver dollar represents a historic era of American coinage, originating from the southern mint in New Orleans. Struck in 0.900 fine silver, this particular coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. Having survived more than a century, this specimen remains in Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving the intricate details of its original engraving. On the obverse side, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap, decorated with a band displaying her name. Surrounding her portrait are thirteen stars, the year of issue, and the classic Latin motto meaning "Out of many, one." This side of the coin captures the artistic spirit of late nineteenth-century American currency design. The reverse of the coin centers on a bald eagle, its talons grasping both an olive branch and a cluster of arrows to symbolize peace and readiness. Encircling the eagle are the inscriptions declaring the nation of origin and the denomination of one dollar. Above the bird, the phrase "In God We Trust" is inscribed, while the distinctive "O" mint mark below the wreath identifies this piece as a product of the historic New Orleans Mint.
