The 1899-S Morgan Dollar represents a classic era of American silver coinage. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, this coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver, with a total purity of 90 percent. Despite showing the honest wear of a coin graded in Good condition, its essential design elements remain recognizable, offering a tangible connection to the late nineteenth century.
