1900-O Morgan Dollar AU
The 1900 Morgan silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage, minted at the historic New Orleans facility. This particular coin, preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, contains 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver. The New Orleans origin is marked by the letter O on the reverse side. As a series, these famous silver coins circulated throughout the United States for a span of about 80 years. On the obverse, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which features a band inscribed with her name. Thirteen stars encircle the portrait, accompanied by the year 1900 and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. The reverse side displays a bald eagle holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons. Surrounding the eagle are the inscriptions United States of America, One Dollar, and the national motto In God We Trust.
