0.7734 troy oz .900 1900 MS-63 (NGC)

The turn of the twentieth century brought a sense of national progress, captured beautifully in the 1900 Morgan silver dollar. Minted in New Orleans, as indicated by the O mint mark, this coin contains 0.77344 ounces of silver with a purity of 0.900. It stands as a classic example of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century American coinage, preserved in a certified Mint State 63 grade. On the obverse, a left-facing profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap. Her hair band displays the word Liberty, while the surrounding field is inscribed with the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum, thirteen stars representing the original colonies, and the 1900 date of issue. The reverse side presents a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread, grasping a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. This central image is framed by the inscriptions United States of America and One Dollar, with the motto In God We Trust positioned directly above the eagle.
