This silver dollar from 1900 represents a fascinating moment in American coining history, originating from the San Francisco Mint. Struck with a silver purity of 0.900, the coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. Surviving in Extra Fine condition, this piece displays the detailed artistry that defined late nineteenth and early twentieth-century United States currency. The front of the coin presents a profile of Liberty, who wears a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a band displaying her name. Framing this central portrait are the words of the national motto, the year 1900, and thirteen stars representing the original colonies.
