1900-S Stage Coach Silver Dollar BU PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1900 Brilliant Unc (PCGS)

The year 1900 marked a significant moment for the San Francisco Mint, where this exceptional silver dollar was struck. Bearing the 'S' mint mark, this coin survives today in a Brilliant Uncirculated state, preserving the sharp details of its original engraving just as it looked when it first emerged from the coining press. On the obverse, a left-facing portrait of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which is decorated with wheat ears and cotton bolls. The reverse presents a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread wide, holding both an olive branch and a bundle of arrows in its talons. Composed of 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver (with a overall purity of 0.900), this coin is a stunning representative of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century American coinage.
