0.7734 troy oz .900 1902 Extra Fine

Struck in 1902 at the Philadelphia Mint, this silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. The coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a composition that is 90 percent pure. Surpassing more than a century of existence, this piece survives in Extra Fine condition, preserving the distinct details of its historic imagery. The front of the coin presents a profile of Liberty, who wears a traditional Phrygian cap. Her hair band is inscribed with the word "LIBERTY" as a central motif. Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars, the year of manufacture, and the Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM." On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with outspread wings, clutching both a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. This side of the coin displays the national name, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," alongside the denomination, "ONE DOLLAR." The motto "In God We Trust" is also clearly visible, written in an elegant script above the eagle.
