1902-O Morgan Dollar MS-62 PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1902 MS-62 (PCGS)

Struck in 1902, this silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted at the historic New Orleans facility, the coin is composed of 0.900 fine silver, containing 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. This particular specimen has been graded in Mint State 62 (MS-62), preserving the intricate details of its century-old design. The obverse side showcases the profile of Liberty, who wears a Phrygian cap adorned with a band inscribed with the word "Liberty". Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars, the year 1902, and the traditional Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum". On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread, clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The national motto "In God We Trust" is positioned above the eagle, while the phrases "United States of America" and "One Dollar" frame the scene. Just above the denomination, the distinctive "O" mint mark indicates its origin from the New Orleans Mint.
