1902-O Stage Coach Morgan Dollar BU PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1902 Brilliant Unc (PCGS)

The 1902 Morgan silver dollar stands as a remarkable artifact from the turn of the twentieth century, minted at the historic New Orleans facility. Struck in 0.900 fine silver and containing 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal, this coin survives in brilliant uncirculated condition, preserving the sharp details of its original engraving just as it appeared over a century ago. On the obverse, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which is decorated with native American agricultural elements, specifically wheat and cotton balls. The year 1902 is clearly struck at the base of the design. The reverse of the coin showcases a bald eagle with its wings fully spread, holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons to represent peace and readiness. Positioned just below the eagle is the distinctive 'O' mint mark, indicating its origin from the New Orleans Mint.
