1903 Morgan Dollar AU
Struck in 1903, this historic US silver dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver and contains 0.7734 troy ounces of the precious metal. It is preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, showing only minor signs of wear from its time in circulation over a century ago. The obverse displays a left-facing portrait of Liberty, who wears a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a band inscribed with the word Liberty. Encircling her portrait are thirteen stars representing the original colonies, the year 1903, and the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum. On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with outstretched wings, clutching both an olive branch and arrows in its talons. The reverse inscriptions include United States of America, the denomination One Dollar, and the national motto In God We Trust, completing a design that remains one of the most recognized in numismatic history.
